My name is Tyler Smith. I have grown up fishing in the state of Alabama. I fish the local lakes and river systems around me. I did attend Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. While I was there I traveled to Kentucky Lake for my first College event and finished 13th out of 157 boats. That finish qualified me for a MLF College National Championship. Also in my only year of school I won the AOY title for the Faulkner team. I travel all over the state fishing the MLF Big Five BFL tournament trail. In just my second season on the BFL Bama division trail I finished the season in 20th place. Which qualified me for the BFL Regional Championship. In the BFL Regional Championship on Lake Wheeler in Decatur Alabama, I walked away with a first place finish, winnings of $60,000 and qualified for the 2022 BFL All-American which will take place in June 2022 on Lake Hamilton. I have always had a love for fishing and I know it is  something I want to purse in my life and make a living at. I enjoy taking other people fishing and helping teach anglers.
